Public Securities Tradable on the NASD OTC Securities Exchange is grouped into either of the three list:
ADMITTED SECURITIES
Entry into the NASD OTC Securities Exchange for trading can be through an Admission of the Company (Issuer-led Listing) or an Admission of Securities – an investor-led Introduction.

QUOTATION LIST
Public Securities Tradeable, SEC Registered and awaiting Admission into the NASD OTC Securities Exchange.
Contact your broker to admit shares of a PLC not trading on any registered Exchange in Nigeria.
WATCH LIST
Public Securities Tradeable, NOT SEC registered.

ADMITTED SECURITIES
NASD caters mainly to securities that are not trading on any other platform in Nigeria – both to avoid duplicating markets and to effectively increase financial inclusion.
Securities admitted to the OTC market are either by an investor introduction (Security Admission) or on application by the Issuer (Admission of Company).
Security Admission
An Admitted Security is introduced by a Participating Institution and admitted to trade on the NASD OTC Market.
This route affords individual Investors an opportunity to trade their holdings in public companies.
Investors who have share certificates of public companies not trading on any registered Exchange and wishes to trade can introduce the “security for trading” through a Participating Institution by completing: NASD Form 3- Security Admission. Please find admission requirements here.
Admission of Company
An Admitted Company is an entity that has formally applied to NASD for listing. The company is ranked and placed on one of the NASD Market tiers according to its level of compliance with NASD Admission Requirements.
Issuers/Companies, through an Issuing house/Participating Institution can be admitted to the NASD OTC Securities Exchange by completing – NASD Form 2 – Company Admission . Please find admission requirements here.
